Sabvoton controller high brake/low brake/0-5v ebrake

What’s the high brake, low brake, 0-5v e-brake?

Brake power-off is an important function of electric vehicles, especially for high speed vehicles. Let me introduce the functions of brake power-off.

Brake classification:

1. Normal brake & E-Brake(setting in software)

1). Normal Brake:

When the brake power-off function is triggered, the controller stops working. Therefore, power failure does not mean that the electric vehicle is not energized, but the controller stops outputting.

2) . E-Brake:

When the brake power-off function is triggered, the controller output a reverse resistance to get shorter braking distance.

2. High brake, Low brake, 0-5v e-brake(connection way)

Brake power-off function with three kinds: high brake, low brake, 0-5v e-brake.

1) . High brake: Trigger condition is signal voltage 12V.

2) . Low brake: Trigger condition is signal voltage 0V, connect with negative wire.

3) . 0-5V e-brake: connect with second throttle, and software setting in ebrake-throttle. The ebrake force can be adjust by thumb throttle.

FAQ

1. Choose one from High brake, low brake and 0-5v e-brake functions, those three function cannot used in the same time.

2. High brake 12v and low brake 0v is the description of voltage achieved for brake, no big different. And high brake & low brake can be normal brake or e-brake, it depends on the software setting.

3. You can choose one from“high brake & normal brake”, “high brake & e-brake”, “low brake & normal brake”, “low brake & e-brake”, “0-5v e-brake” for using.
